Tir na nog Gallery presents “Poetry Speaks Art” night

In this event, participants read 17 poems, in English and Japanese, by W.B. Yeats while looking at artworks inspired by those very poems. The MCs were poets Rain Michiyama and Lawrie Hunter.
People came and read the Yeats poems.
Some people improvised a response to one of the contemporary art works in the gallery.
Some spoke their own poems.
Some just listened.
